Liquid Lab is steadily gaining momentum with this being the sixth release since its conception in July this year and we continue to build a solid back catalogue of quality music from established and up and coming artists.

Following in the footsteps of his musical contemporaries from Manchester University is one of our favourite liquid producers, Motiv. Within days of us signing music by his Uni pals Channell & Zar the word had travelled and Jonny had sent us over his first batch of Liquid Lab demos. We immediately signed "Modaji" and the rest is history as within a couple of months "The Rain" EP was complete and scheduled in, packed full of funk, flavour, emotion, amazing piano hooks, clever sampling and of course super sharp beats and bass. 

Motiv is a seriously talented musician, producer, DJ and this is just the beginning of his journey with us.  His next projects on Liquid Lab and Co-Lab are already well under way so watch out for those in 2020.
